About Shelley

I am a CNA and phlebotomist and have worked with many seniors. During clinicals I worked on the dementia and Alzheimer's wing. After I received my CNA, I worked on the physical therapy/occupational therapy floor with mostly elderly patients who were either full care patients or very close to it. Therefore, I have lots of experience with transferring patients and assisting with physical therapy regimens. I decided to get my CNA because I took care of my grandmother for three years and was witness to the enormous difference that one good or bad CNA could make. I have a passion for working with seniors and children, and feel that I can really connect and help those who need it. As a CNA, I know how to check vital signs, administer medications, give injections, draw blood, monitor conditions, transfer and assist with ambulation, bathe, dress, change, feed, reposition, help with assistive devices, cook, and clean.
