About Shelley

Hello, My name is Shelley and I have been an Occupational Therapy Assistant for the past 9 years. My skills mostly consists of working closely in geriatrics at various Skilled Nursing Facilities. I provide skilled services for patients to learn and master compensatory strategies to perform Activities of Daily Living, with use of AE. I provide energy conservation techniques, joint protection, and ways to modify the patients environment to help increase safety. I focus intervention techniques on ADLs and IADLs. Which include meal preparation, housekeeping, medication management, and functional mobility. I believe my work ethic and personality traits will add value to your loved ones. I am self- driven and highly motivated, creative, energetic and socially adept, perceptive of others and self aware. I would love the pleasure of helping and providing the necessary care needed.
