I am a mother and grandmother myself, and have been a full time child care provider for over 10 years. I have taken care of children newborn to 10 years of age. Working with children is a passion of mine. I enjoy teaching and encouraging the development of young children. From potty training to ABC's and basic reading skills, I provide an enriched atmosphere that is stimulating and nurturing. I believe that children should be immersed in creative play and hands on activities that encourage their development. While I am able to provide this type of environment, I also pride myself in offering a loving one. Many of the children that I have had the joy of providing child care to, have grown to school age, leaving me to look for other career opportunities. I still maintain relationships with these children. I have also provided cleaning services for families in the past. Providing child care is not just a job to me. Parents are allowing me to enter their homes and become an integral part.

Shelia took care of my family - my two kids, my husband and I and our cats - for over 6 years. In that time she became absolutely indispensable, going above and beyond for each member of my family. She never missed a day, was never late to work and often stayed past her finish time just to make sure we had everything we needed. During that period, thanks to her loving care, our careers flourished, our kids grew from babies into happy, well-adjusted children and even our cats and our plants were strong and healthy. She is fantastic at cleaning and always left our home picked up neatly at the end of each day, with rooms gleaming week to week (including bathrooms). Laundry was washed, folded and put away. The kitchen was spotless (including refrigerator and oven) and she made sure we always had groceries and other household supplies. She was truly a fairy godmother to our family and I am grateful we had the chance to work with her during that hectic period of my family's growth.
