About Shelby

Hi there, I'm Shelby. I have spent over 15 years in the medical field as a surgical assistant. I raised two amazing boys who are now 22 & 19 which can give someone more knowledge of caring for humans than any text book. :) I cared for my mother who suffered from ALS for many years. I'd describe my personality as light hearted, easy, happy. I like caring for seniors because I needed help with my mom and it was difficult to find someone that I genuinely trusted. It shouldn't be that hard to find good people willing to help but it was. I want to be apart of helping that problem. I'm looking for a job that I feel good at the end of my day for. I started caring for seniors actually when I was in college. In my spare time, I like to be with my husband & grown children. I love movies and hiking. One thing you should know about me is I feel like I am a kind person that wants to help people. My skills include companionship, personal healthcare, light errand running.
