This has driven my career, making sure my clients get the best care & feel comfortable. Aiming to create a happy & safe space for everyone I work with, I always bring a smile along. I have experience in home health, working in facilities, traumatic brain injuries, senior care, & special needs assistance. I'm also experienced in hospitality and medicine administration. I am trained in transferring, changing, bathing, de-escalation, First Aid, & will do any meal prepping, light housekeeping, along with keeping your loved one great company. My clients are my top priority, I want them to feel like they have a genuine friend, not just a caregiver.

I hired Shelby to care for my 90 year old father, who required daily care as he did not get around well and suffered from dementia. I was my father’s care giver and needed to find someone to replace me for 6 days while I was out of town. Shelby was more than willing to do so. She was happy to do it and felt honored that I would ask her. Shelby met up with us for a “training” before I left town. She was not afraid to step in and help with all of the tasks and asked important questions along the way. She treated my father with respect and dignity as well as talked and laughed with him as if he could hear every word she was saying. (Which he could not. He was very hard of hearing. But they both happily played along.) Shelby completed all of the tasks every day and left detailed notes of the care she provided which check-marked every task on my list. I wish there was a need for me to hire Shelby again because she is wonderful!!
