Hi! My name is Shelby and I am 23 years old. I would describe myself as patient, respectful and kind. I graduated from Wilmington University with my bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. I am Medication, CPR and First Aid certified, and also recently obtained my certificate in Child Advocacy. I have experience working with children of all ages, (infant-school aged) and all abilities. I currently work as a paraprofessional in the school district, in my elementary school's autism program. I work with ages 2-5 years old, both verbal and non-verbal. I aide my students in achieving their goals, both academic and personal. I am very passionate about teaching, and find my pathway in childcare extremely rewarding. I have my own transportation and I am not a smoker. I don't mind doing light chores/cleaning or taking care of pets, please feel free to let me know what your needs are!
