About Shelby

I bring creativity, empathy, and structure to the care I provide for children. My experience working with children, including those with special needs, has shaped my ability to offer individualized, nurturing care. I strive to create a positive environment where children can thrive, learn, and express themselves. In addition to holding a BA in Theater, my theater training enhances my ability to engage children in imaginative play, storytelling, and creative activities, fostering their development in fun and meaningful ways. I also have a J. D. which has made me a master of research and writing to help with school projects and assignments. As a mother of grown children, I have seen every illness, injury and ailment you can imagine. I am cool, calm and collected in crisis. Whether it's assisting with homework, engaging in creative activities, or providing emotional support, I am dedicated to creating a supportive and enriching space for every child focusing on their individual needs.
