Hi! My name is Shelby and I was born and raised in El Dorado, KS. I currently live in Lawrence, KS and have been here since January 2000. I attended the University of Kansas for awhile before I realized that working in early childcare is my passion. Since 2003, I have worked as a teacher's aide, full-time infant, preschool, and toddler teacher at two well known child care centers in Lawrence and also was a nanny for 2. 5 years. Currently, I am a full-time toddler teacher at Hilltop Child Development Center that is located on the KU campus. I love working with young children, especially the infant and toddler age, but do have experience with watching children from ages of 2 months-10 years old. I am a non-smoker, non-drinker, First Aid/CPR certified, and have own transportation. if any families are looking for a date night on the weekends or help during the week in the evenings, then I am your person! I can also offer references as well.
