About Shelby

**experience with special needs children!! Hello! My name is Shelby. I am a social work student online with Appalachian State University and I work full time as a behavioral therapist for children with special needs. I value every life and every culture as everyone is equal and deserves the same opportunities. I am more than happy to be a sitter for a special needs individual, and I am also happy to lower sitting prices depending on family needs. My goal with using care. com is to meet new families, learn new cultures, as well as make some extra money when I am not working with a client for my behavioral therapist job. I would love to assist your children with participating in functional play, mindful activities, lots of outside time (if the family is comfortable with that), as well as eating healthy. I am also open to cooking, cleaning, gardening work, you name it. I am happy to help in my spare time, to gain experience for my future career in social work.
