About Shelby

Hello, my name is Shelby. I have been a nanny/childcare provider for 3 years with lots of experience from 1 month to 6-year-olds. My passion for working with children led me to pursue a career where I could contribute to their development. I'm attending Sierra College and getting my associate's degree in early childhood education. I am a patient, calm, and friendly individual with a creative imagination. I prioritize open communication with parents, providing regular updates, and using their preferred method of communication. I am also very comfortable enforcing household rules to ensure a safe and nurturing environment. I love spending time outdoors in nature, enjoying various activities in any setting, and helping children with various plays that foster their learning and development. I am also willing to assist with cooking/meal preparation, tidying, and any pet supervision. I'm also well-equipped to handle any situation, having completed First Aid Training and CPR.
