About Shelby

I started working with kids when I was in high school and have been doing it ever since. I have worked in a variety of childcare settings with children of all ages. In my spare time, I like to hike, bike, sew, and walk with my dog. Basically any activity outside, I love to do! My skills include patience, understanding, and being able to have fun. I was a lead teacher of an infant classroom for a year. Most days it was just me and 4 wonderful babies. I currently attend UAB and am in their teacher education program. I have two semesters left until I am certified to be an elementary school teacher!
