Hey my name is Shelby! I am a junior at Columbia College and am pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have many years of experience with watching and teaching children of various ages. In high school I was a teacher cadet and helped teach a kindergarten class for 2 years. I use to teach Sunday school for 3-6-year-old children, and I taught vacation bible school ever since I was 14. In college, I have completed my first round of field experience which was a wonderful class of third graders. Last summer I babysat a 6-month-old boy. I also babysit my 17 moth old nephew. Teaching has always been a passion of mine and something I have always wanted to do since I was seven. I have my own means of transportation, I am willing to do light housekeeping, and I can cook.
