About Shelby

I have experience in many different settings working with kids. I have my bachelors in psychology. I am currently working as a paraprofessional at an elementary school while finishing my teaching certification. I have 8 years of experience in childcare. I have worked with ages 6 weeks to 14 years old. I climbed my way up from an assistant teacher to director before deciding to take a step away from early childhood education to pursue teaching in an elementary school. I am also a professional Auntie to 8 amazing nephews. I am CPR, first aid, and water safety trained and certified. I am not the babysitter who will sit on my phone. I genuinely interact with the kids whether that is building a fort, jumping on a trampoline, playing board games, or baking cookies!
