About Shelby

I have experience in many different settings working with kids. I have my bachelors in psychology and kinesiology and I am working on my masters in early childhood education. I spent two summers at a daycare going from room to room so I worked with kids ranging from 3 months to 12 years old. I also was an after school counselor for the YMCA for two years, then was promoted to site coordinator and stayed there for one year. During that time I worked the YMCA outdoor summer camp as well. I have nannied for a couple of families ages 3 months to 14 years old. I did day time nannying, after school nannying, and even over night nannying for traveling parents. I am also a professional Auntie to 7 amazing nephews. I am CPR, first aid, and water safety trained and certified. I am not the babysitter who will sit on my phone. I genuinely interact with the kids wether that is building a fort, jumping on a trampoline, playing board games, or baking cookies!
