About Shelby

Hello Parents! My name is Shelby and I am a senior Child and Adolescent Development Major at PLNU, as well as a childcare provider with 8 years of experience. I am passionate about child care and development, but my approach differs based on age. Something that doesn't chance though is that it is holistic - encompassing physical, mental, social-emotional, and spiritual development. I believe in open and honest communication with parents. I like to provide regular updates on their child's day and promptly address any issues that may arise. When it comes to rules, I follow the parents' lead, ensuring consistency and a harmonious home environment no matter what adult is home. Whether your child enjoys sports, board games, puzzles, or educational games, I'd love to do it all with them!
