About Shelby

Hi - I am Shelby and I have an Associates Degree in Fine Arts. I am currently enrolled to receive my Bachelors Degree. I have extensive experience caring for children. My first professional child care experience was as a camp counselor at an Art Center in high school. The children's ages ranged from 5-15 years old. I later became an after school teacher for the Mecklenburg school system. In 2018, I became an aunt which led to a multitude of different experiences. It has been an honor to help raise my niece. I grew up with many different types of pets (budgie birds, hermit crabs, rabbits & turtles). I am now the proud mom of a fur baby named Amethyst. Amethyst is a 6-month-old Yorkshire terrier puppy. (full of energy and excitement). I am fine with working with other animals.
