I was caregiver for a dear woman for 5yrs until she passed away. I did her laundry, did grocery shopping and ran errands for her. I also sat with a dear man for over 6yrs. I started in his home; I cleaned his home, prepared meals, did laundry, dispersed his medications, took him to doctors appointments and any other errands needed, including picking up groceries. He eventually transitioned to a independent care facility where I performed many of the same duties. I was with him until he passed away. I am currently a caregiver to a dear woman that I've been with for almost 7yrs. I started in her home performing laundry, light housekeeping, errands, dispersing medications and assisting with showers and getting dressed. She has transitioned to a facility but we perform all of her needs including bathing and dressing, changing briefs, feeding, oral care and companionship.
