About Sheila Kathryn

Hi! My name is Sheila! I'm a fun, detail-oriented, and responsible caregiver with over 10 years of experience working with children. I'm a former teacher with a background in tutoring math and science, leading STEM summer camps, and teaching Sunday school. I enjoy helping children think critically and supporting their growth in ways that are both engaging and meaningful. I've also cared for a close family member with autism, which has taught me how to create calm, patient, and nurturing environments that meet children where they are. My favorite part of working with kids is learning from them. I truly believe in honoring their wisdom and making sure they feel seen and heard. I love bringing creativity into our time together through painting, crafts, and music (I play the piano!). I take pride in creating a space that is safe, joyful, and supportive where children can thrive.
