As a caregiver, my passion lies in positively impacting children's lives and supporting families. With two years of experience caring for a family member placed in the system at the age of one, I developed a deep love for working with young children. Recently, I spent six fulfilling months in the home care field, providing one-on-one care to elderly individuals. I am patient, calm, creative, and friendly, and I communicate openly with parents about their child's day and any issues that arise. I follow their preferred communication method, whether it's written daily reports or regular updates via text or phone call. When it comes to enforcing household rules, I am very comfortable doing so in a gentle and understanding manner. I believe in creating a safe and structured environment for children while also fostering their independence. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning.
