About Shealynn

I have worked in child education for over 18 years. I majored in child development. My favorite schools to teach at were Montessori based. I received my Education crudentails in Montessori Theory. Over the last 18 years I've gained much experience working on our beautiful central coast. I am now located in Santa Maria California and looking for my next forever family that I can grow with. I often Nannied during my Summer's off when I wasn't teaching. As much as I love teaching I love being a career nanny more. I have been a live_in Nanny, A Mother's Helper, full-time/part time Nanny. I have much experience working with all age groups from infants to babies to toddlers, Pre-K & kindergarten. I love introducing art and crafts to children of all ages along with constant reading of books.

Shealynn is a wonderful caregiver. She is loving, compassionate, and incredibly patient. I have known Shealynn for over 15 years, and for a portion of that time, she took care of my two Autistic sons. My boys had some very challenging behaviors, to say the least, but Shealynn always remained calm and in control. She learned how to handle those challenging behaviors and embrace them. I also loved that instead of just sitting my boys in front of the television, she always engaged them with play and education. I always knew that when she was watching my boys they were in very good hands. I highly recommend Shealynn as a caregiver!
