About Shea

Hi there! I am a 22-year-old college grad with a B. S. in Psychology and Brain Sciences and a minor in Applied Psychology. I have taken multiple courses in child and adolescent development, endocrinology of human reproduction, and early childhood education, although I would contest that nothing beats hands on experience. I love kids and have been nannying here and there since I was 14 in the Ventura County area where I grew up. I am organized and driven, but I also love to connect and engage with the children (and parents!) I work with. I mostly have experience with children ages 1-7, but I am currently getting to know newborn care and am happy to work with/learn to care for any age group! I have a registered car and Santa Barbara/Goleta driving experience, so I am comfortable doing pick ups, drop offs, or errands. I am also happy to help with homework and organization/cleaning. I am outgoing, creative and determined and I believe I can make a great asset to the right family.
