About Shayna

I come from a family of girls with Muscular Dystrophy. They require a lot of tender love and care, and constantly need someone there to help them to live their life. This taught me to be understanding and compassionate. I love kids of all shapes and sizes. I believe in the value of playtime and validation, and I believe that kids need a good set of boundaries to live in. I also studied marriage, family, and human development (basically, child development). I was a nanny in Hillsborough for three years and I loved it, and I now have kids of my own, so I am hopping back into the field! I will now have my days free while my 4yo twin boys are in school, so I am currently only looking for part-time between 8:30-1:00pm, however, if you are comfortable with your children coming to my home at the end of the day, I can extend those hours (but I do need to be able to pick my own kids up from school and take them home and be there for them). Maybe they can all become friends!
