About Shaylyn

I'm passionate about caring for children, with one year of experience as a childcare provider. My prior babysitting roles inspired me to pursue a career in fostering children's growth and development. Parents can trust that I'll provide a safe and nurturing environment for their children. I'm patient, calm, creative, and approachable, and I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules. I'm also CPR-trained. I love playing both educational games that promote learning and games that are just plain fun, like board games and puzzles! I'm happy to tailor activities to each child's interests. I welcome up to three children, from infants to preteens. I'm willing to help with cooking and meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision. When it comes to communication, I'll follow the parents' preferred method, whether it's verbal communication at pickup or regular updates via text or phone.
