This is the background check we require for all caregivers.
Experience: 6 yrs
I like caring for seniors because helping them feel at their best makes me happy. Helping someone that is in need of help with something more that they can't particularly do for themselves gives me a sense of accomplishment and I love to help others.! I'm looking for a job that I can care for someone who needs a little extra help in their everyday activities. I started caring for seniors when I was 17 years old I grew up in nursing home with my mother and aunties! In my spare time, I like to have family outing with my husband and 4 children. I love to make my children happy!!! One thing you should know about me is I do what's asked or expected of me. If I have questions I am not afraid to ask for clarification. I am responsible, reliable, and ready to work! My skills include Dressing, bathing, feeding, bed making, cleaning, oral care, daily hygiene. I'd describe my personality as Patient, Caring, Assertive, Reliable and Responsible.

I hired Shaylynn after I had a major surgery in June. I needed to get back to work (remote worker) but could not manage my daily tasks. Also, due to cancer diagnosis, I had to change my lifestyle, A LOT! Shaylynn helped me remove all sugar, processed foods, and expired foods from the house (a surprising amount of expired foods!) She then began preparing pitchers of water, with lemon, cucumbers, etc. so I began drinking more water, which was really important for me to do. I was also in the midst of a divorce and the house was a complete mess and disorganized, so she rolled up her sleeves and helped me get my house back in order. If I was in a meeting or a project for work, and could not come out, she ALWAYS found something to clean, organize, wipe down, do laundry, make beds, breaking down cardboard boxes, clean out fridge, etc. Never ever was she not doing something to help me. I think I healed quickly because of my house and diet being more organized. If there was a recipe I wanted to try, I would send it to her, and it always came out PERFECT! Shaylynn did all my shopping for me. All of it. Asked what I wanted from which store, and cared about how I liked things. I have her a credit card to use, it had a $1000 limit, and always brought back receipts and it was perfect. I cannot recommend her enough. Trustworthy, kind, always on time, conscientious, great communicator, and all round wonderful person. I would hire her again 1000 times. And I will probably need some more support later down the line, so I am happy my first choice was so perfect!
