I have had years of experience working with people with special needs. I have worked in elementary and high school special needs programs, autism centers, after school programs, nonprofits and in-home care programs. I've worked with infants-young adults. I have been trained in ABA Therapy and have years of training in crisis response, counseling, paraprofessional services, job coaching, life skills and other various aspects of the mental health field. The relationships I have formed with different adolescents and children with special needs have been extremely rewarding. Working with individuals with special needs has been very inspirational and although it has been challenging at times, it has been some of the most meaningful work I've ever been involved in.
