About Shaylea

I have 5 years of experience nannying, 14 years of experience babysitting, and 23 years of experience fostering children. I was with my two most recent nanny families for 5 and 6 years and left because I am moving. Taking care of children always brightens my day. I have a vivid imagination and love making up new games to play while incorporating learning into each session. I have 12 years of experience cooking healthy meals for myself, my family and the children I take care of. I have taken courses in developmental psychology, so I know what to expect at each milestone in a child's life. I have experience taking care of family pets by feeding, cleaning, watering and walking the dogs of the families I nanny for. I run errands such as groceries, returns and purchases. I have tutored for over five years in kindergarten, first, and second grade letters, counting, math, writing, reading comprehension, reading, and spelling.
