About Shayla

I love becoming personable with my clients to build a trusting relationship between them and their families. I can relate to a lot so I use my own experiences to make them comfortable around me. I'm looking for a job that allows me to be myself while still caring for the elderly. I am a bubbly person and I want to rub off on clients are who are transitioning to needing more help. I started caring for seniors when I was just a little girl. When my grandmother was in a nursing home as a child, I use to pretend that I was one of her nurses, taking care of her. It wasn't until high school that I realized, this might be the job for me. One thing you should know about me is that I am reliable and I keep my word! My skills include talking therapy & calming an anxious mind. I understand that this transition can be hard for some who are used to being independent so I strive to be patient and understanding and work with them to give them the best care possible.
