About Shawneen

I'd describe my personality as patient, considerate and responsible. I like caring for seniors because I enjoy building connections with them. I appreciate their wisdom and want to be of assistance to them. I'm looking for a job that gives me a send of purpose and makes a difference in the lives of others. I started caring for seniors in 2011. I was a volunteer hospice companion. In 2019, I took a position as an activity volunteer coordinator at an assisted senior living facilities. I loved coordinating activities that brought happiness and purpose to the residents. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family. I also enjoy spending time with my animals. I teach cooking, sewing and ceramics monthly. One thing you should know about me is I am kind and considerate. I follow directions and can keep to a schedule. I am prompt and courteous. My skills include patience, competence and creativity.
