About Shawn

Hello Care. com community! I'm Shawn - a responsible and fun-loving nanny, as well as a K-12 school bus driver during the academic year. (This means I pass a full federal background check, and obtain a spotless driving record. I'm happy to share my credentials- just ask!) With nearly 15 years of childcare under my belt, I consistently provide safe, engaging, and fun care for the kids I work with. I get to know each family and continually check in about how to best suit their needs. More than anything, I want kids to feel recognized and respected! I believe this is the foundation for a positive nanny/child relationship. My interests are vast, though I've spent years as a touring drummer and enjoy hiking, pet-lovin', reading, and active fun like skateboarding, baseball, basketball, and more. I'm always eager to craft with kids and create imaginary games, or play the classics, like Hide N' Seek!
