Hello! I am an experienced early childhood professional who has taught as a lead teacher in infant, toddler, preschool, kindergarten, and first grade classrooms! Before classroom teaching I was a gymnastics a coach for recreational and competitive teams. I am passionate about children experiencing authentic and meaningful learning experiences. I have a 2-year-old toddler that would be joining me and we visit museums, libraries, and playgrounds throughout the week. When we are at home we love to dance, sing, read stories, play, and color. I would be looking for a family who does not have a cat or dog (exception would be hypoallergenic dog) as I am allergic. I am willing to nanny up to 2 children, along with my own toddler. She loves singing to her favorite songs (Elmo, Bluey, Moana), exploring new places, playing with friends, and snuggling her stuffies!

Shawna was not just our childcare, she was a part of our family. She watched our children for years, and was engaged and engaging, nurturing, and responsible. She easily managed the chaos of a newborn and a toddler, created deep relationships with both of the kids, and is both dependable and trustworthy. Not only did she take excellent care of the kids, but she would always clean up after their activities, and would go above and beyond for our family. I cannot recommend Shawna enough, you will be so blessed to have her in your child’s life.
