Shawna is the best caregiver I've ever seen! She came into our lives during a family crisis. She was exceptional! I don't know how she did it but she drove my disabled son around, shopped, cooked, cleaned, took care of two big dogs, vacuumed, all while taking care of a preschooler and kindergartener! She drove the children to and from school, walked with them to the playground to play, and fully engaged them in fun activities. The kids looked forward to what Shawna called, "Fun Friday". She baked with them, did tie-dye tee-shirts with them, and provided theme based activities. Shawna was responsible and provided superlative care to our family. She also attended the kids' end of year "graduation" events and a birthday party. At the end of the school year we moved and it was not a close drive. We trust Shawna with our hearts. They kids adored her! She was firm when she needed to be yet gentle. Shawna is special and became part of our family. I've been an educator for 29 years and Shawna has proven to be one of the most capable and compassionate human beings I've known. She is a blessing!
