My name is Shawna I'm 28. I'm a full time mom of a 5-year-old and full time K1 (4-year-old teacher). I've worked professionally in the Early Childhood field for over 5 years and before that I've babysat on and off for 11 years. Now that the summer vacation is less then 2 weeks away, I would like to continue to work in a field I'm comfortable in, which is working with children. Although summer vacation is a time to be out of school and do fun activities, I do think it's important to have some type of school work throughout the day, even if its just reading together for about 20 minutes.
