Hi! I have recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Education, and I have two years of experience being a caregiver. I was a Direct Support Professional for close to a year. While working there, I helped my consumer with grocery shopping and meal preparation, medication assistance, transportation, personal care (application of lotion, hair brushing, etc). I also worked as a Community Skills Trainer for a total of a year. While working with special needs I did most of the same types of things, while providing a more hands off experience.
