About Shawna

I love children. I'm a child caregiver and retired teacher for K-6th grade students as well as middle and high school students. I have volunteered in the nursery at church for infants-2y olds since I was 10 years old, so for the last 41 years now. I have 3 younger and 1 older siblings and love to babysit my 3 nieces and 10 nephews (aged 1-25y). I'm currently not working full-time but only occasionally. Children make me smile and I especially enjoy being around babies as well as children of any age. I'm very willing to also help with household chores like laundry, dishes, food prep, and cleaning up after the kids, especially when the kids are napping. I stick to your family's schedule, form of discipline when needed, and follow through with your childcare wishes for your family. I'm really hoping to find a family to join and become a part of for the long haul. I will definitely love your kids like they were my own and care for them deeply! Hope you have a blessed day!
