I love taking care of people! It gives me purpose, and I know I make a positive impact on people's lives every day. Caring for our beloved senior community is special to me. One of my first jobs was at a local skilled nursing facility as the "tooth fairy," helping with dental care, meals, and social activities. Years later, I earned a B. A. in Psychology from the University of Oregon. Since then, I have worked in caregiving for people of all ages with developmental disabilities, mental health issues, and physical differences. When I am caring for a senior client, I always think about how I would want my own loved ones to be treated. I love to dote on people and make them feel seen and appreciated. Intergenerational friendships and caregiving relationships can be golden opportunities to learn from each other. Seniors have a rich sense of history, interesting experiences, and the kind of wisdom that only comes with age. So, let's connect and start a new senior adventure together!
