About Shawna

I have been serving families for over 10 years. I have a BS degree in Family and Child Development and a minor in Psychology. I love children and believe that every family and child should reach their full potential and the best quality of life possible for them. Children's wellbeing and safety are my priorities along with developing caring relationships with them. I am creative and good at problem-solving. I love to find ways to make children laugh and learn while having fun. The past year I have worked as a preschool and pre-k teacher. For over six years I was an Assistant Teacher at KinderCare caring for infants and toddlers. In 2018 I started attending college and became a Nanny for a 10-year-old non-verbal girl with down syndrome. When I transferred schools I started my own cleaning business to help pay off college expenses. I would love to connect with you and see how I could serve you and your family!
