I'm looking for a job that fulfills me. It gives me joy and a sense of accountability, it's rewarding. I started caring for seniors on the day I turned 16 years old. My Mother was the Administrator of a Nursing Home and hired me as an Activity Aide, there hasn't been another rewarding job since. I worked at Waterfront Terrace Nursing Facility for about 5 years. In my spare time, I like to cook, gain financial advice, watch TV series, and spend time with my family. I lost both of my parents to cancer in 2017, then 2018. This only made my appreciation for the elderly grow. My skills include CPR certified, housekeeping and meal prep.

Shawana cares for my grandmother with dementia. She is AMAZING!! She’s extremely patient & truly wants the best for her. She’s very flexible & always accommodating. She’s medically knowledgeable! Her dedication & professionalism has significantly impacted my grandmother’s day-to-day.
