About Shauntise

I'm a recent graduate from Maryland Institute College of Art. I've worked as a teaching assistant at an Arts Camp (6-12), where I taught children woodworking and glass fusing skills emphasizing safety and fun. I'm currently an art instructor at VisArts in Rockville, and I've worked with youth ranging from 6 to 16 years old. My experience has taught me how to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive. I believe in fostering a child's creativity, imagination, and independence. With my background, I can provide a fun and stimulating environment for your child. I'm also happy to help with light housekeeping and meal preparation. I'm patient, calm, and adaptable, and I love going on walks outside, and doing crafts with children. Regarding household rules, I'm happy to follow your lead. I believe in open communication with parents and will keep you updated on your child's day. I'm eager to meet your family and learn more about your child's needs.
