Experienced childcare professional who worked in an after-school program as an after-school counselor and tutor. Primarily responsible for supervising and supporting children during the hours following the regular school day, often including activities such as homework assistance and after-school tutoring. Providing academic support to students outside of regular school hours, helping them with homework, test preparation, or specific subjects in a small group setting or one-on-one session with the primary goal of improving their academic performance in school. In addition, to planning and implementing activities, managing group dynamics, providing guidance, addressing behavioral issues, communicating with parents, and maintaining an overall safe environment.
