About Shaun

With over five years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in long-term care, I have specialized in supporting dental residents while caring for patients with dementia. My role involved assisting dentists in providing compassionate and comprehensive oral healthcare tailored to individuals with complex medical and cognitive needs. Working closely with patients with dementia, I developed skills in creating a calming environment, adapting care to meet unique challenges, and fostering trust with residents and their families. This experience has deepened my commitment to improving the quality of life for those in vulnerable situations and strengthened my ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary.
