About Sharon

I'd describe my personality as kind, patient and fun I like tutoring because I love seeing kids find their confidence. I was a struggling learner so I can relate to students who need different methods to learn. I'm looking for a job that allows me to work closely with a child, one that allows us to trust each other and find joy in learning. I started tutoring back when I was teaching. Many of my students needed support and I found that I loved working one on one or in small groups. In my spare time, I like to read, draw, watch movies, go to the theater, swim and take walks. I love being in nature. One thing you should know about me is my students still keep in touch. I've had amazing relationships with my students and their families. I believe every child can learn and I love celebrating differences. My skills include reading and decoding, writing and basic math.
