I have been caring for seniors for approximately 18 years now. The last gentleman I cared for was 91 years old with Parkinson's disease, prostate cancer which required permanent catheter, wheelchair bound. Responsible for light housekeeping, laundry, trash, meal prep, medication mgmt, transportation to drew, dressing, bathroom and shower assistance. I was with him 48 to 72 hrs per week and unfortunately he has been moved to a more intensive facility due to declining health.

My mom has Alzheimer's and I was extremely stressed out caring for her and trying to manage my own family and work. Sharon was a blessing! - she loved and treated my Mother as if she was her own parent. She is a very take charge person, but in my case I really needed that. Sharon took Mom to all her doctor's appointments, filled her prescriptions, took her shopping and out to eat and even to movies. I never had to worry about anything when she was there. Being the caregiver for this type of dementia can be extremely taxing, though she did get exasperated at times, she always put my health and safety first. Even though I had to place my mom into an assisted living facility, Sharon comes by and visits her. Sharon is energetic, extremely dedicated and reliable, I would highly recommend her.
