Hi my name is Sharon! I am currently enrolled at Adelphi University. I am studying to be a childhood-adolescent teacher. I have taken many childhood development classes and study it closely. I love children, which is a given as you can see. I have babysat for about three years consecutively near my neighborhood in ridgewood but been involved in childcare since I was 15 as well as been a summer camp counselor for three years going on four this summer for a sleep away camp for children with sickle cell. I have been trained to handle all situations involving children and I'm confident you will love having me babysit your children! We’ve had Sharon care for our 4-year-old daughter twice, and she’s been absolutely fantastic. Even after just a few visits, my daughter already adores her, and it's clear Sharon has a special, natural way of connecting with children. What really impresses us is her incredible patience. nothing seems to phase her, no matter what’s going on. It’s so comforting to know she has a strong understanding of childhood development. Her methods feel reassuringly thoughtful, and I’m confident they’re great for my daughter’s growth. She also comes up with creative, fun activities that keep my daughter engaged and learning, whether it’s arts and crafts or outdoor play. We never have to worry; Sharon is always attentive, kind, and fully present. If you’re looking for a babysitter who is not only responsible but genuinely cares about kids and their development, I can’t recommend Sharon enough. We are so grateful to have found her!
