I am an active 66-year-old who loves to be outdoors as well as getting down on the floor to play, sing and read.. I have a clean driving record to run errands or to take your child to school, doctor appointments or play group. During naps or quiet time I don't sit. If you have laundry to do or a kitchen to clean, I'll get it done! Children have always been an important part of my life. With a degree in Recreation, I was a camp director for children with special needs. At a hospital I developed and implemented a therapeutic recreation program on a pediatric and a rehabilitation unit. I opened and ran a specialty toy store for 21 years. I love toys, books, arts and crafts, games, puzzles and sports. I love to play. I worked 2 years in a high school developing a work study program for students with special needs. My children are always happy to see Sharon. She gives them the utmost love and attention when they are under her care. She is completely invested in playtime and giving them the attention that they need. She is NOT a passive caregiver. She will be on the floor doing a puzzle or board game, playing pretend, or interacting outside and on the playground. I trust Sharon to drive with my children as well as supervise them while swimming or doing water activities. Sharon is perhaps one of the kindest and most caring people I know. As a caregiver she is attentive to individual needs and able to transition quickly to meet the needs of those in her care should circumstances change. I would absolutely recommend Sharon.
