About Sharon

Education is all about making connections - to what you already know, what you see around you, and what you will do in the future. As a certified K-12 English as a New Language teacher, I have experience connecting the English language with all content areas for children of all age levels. I am trained in making lessons culturally responsive, rigorous, motivational, and engaging for students. I also have 4+ years experience in tutoring on a variety of other topics such as test prep, college and job applications, college and job assignments, tech support, English and Spanish, an much more. It would be an honor to put my certification and experience to work for you or your family this summer.
