About Sharnae

Hi! My name is Sharnae, and I am a Caregiver in the PNW area with extensive experience caring for all age groups, including previous roles as a teacher for young adults. I am certified in First Aid and CPR. MVR and references available upon request. Recently, I worked as a Student Service Specialist for a nonprofit, Machinist Institute, which focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion in the trades industry. I became their first female pre-apprenticeship instructor. My career began at Boeing in Tooling Inspection with a focus on Precision Measuring. Later I earned my degree in Machining Technology. My work history includes roles as a mental health professional, Preschool teacher, nanny, and phlebotomist. I am also passionate about mentoring and volunteering. I was privileged to work with a local organization called tSB (the Service Board). Outside of work, I am a sustainable fashion designer with aspirations to start my own nonprofit focusing on creative arts and mental health!
