I m a caring, compassionate, invested and dependable person. I've worked for The City of Virginia Beach for 9 years taking care of adults with special needs. I have experience working with a wide variety of disabilities including all levels of autism, down syndrome, fragile x, wheelchair and those with more complex disabilities. I've cared for g-tubes, colostomy bags and adult personal garments. I've also worked with the state at SEVTC and ARC for a combined 15 years experience. Iv had a PT job closely working with a family who's daughter has autism for 7 years. I still remain close with her. I have a young man with special needs who lives with me full time, I support him with all aspects of care. I nannied a 9 month baby for 10 months going on doc appoinments, parks, zoos, aquarium, play centers etc. I have FANTASTIC references! I am looking for M-F from 9ish till early afternoon.
