About Sharde

Hello, My name is Sharde', I am a elementary school assistant teacher for a private school that caters to kids with learning disabilities. I have been tutoring professionally for the past 3 years I have taken courses on the proper methods of how to tutor children, and the close-knit methods they need to succeed and while I am a full time teacher Monday - Friday 8:30- 3:30 p.m. I spend my afternoons and evenings tutoring brilliant young minds! In Literacy, I work with fluency, word recognition, vocabulary and handwriting, I highlight the importance of reading and spelling rules and go over each rule starting from the basics and I also work on phonemic and phonological skills to also help improve reading. And then with each student I like to get an idea of work that is being done in class so I can also aid and help with what's being worked on class as well. In Math, I work on all levels from number recognition to problem solving and equation.
