About Sharayah

Hello there, I'm Sharayah! I love people, sunshine, coffee, family, and watercolor painting--to name a few! I smile a lot and I'm curious, I'm also thoughtful and self-aware. I enjoy spending time with children of all ages and have had experience caring for kids newborn through preteen. My experience comes from two decades of babysitting, several years of nannying, growing up around children, and having younger siblings--including a younger brother with special needs. I have an abundance of patience and see a great value in helping little ones through their struggles (big or small) and giving them tools to regulate themselves. I've traveled to Africa to volunteer and work with preschool aged children, teaching English to non English speakers. I've been trained in Adult/Child/Infant CPR and First Aid. Engaging with nature, creating art, being active, and using the imagination are all tools I enjoy using to enrich the time I'm with your kids. Looking forward to meeting you!
