About Shanti

Hi, I'm Shanti! I have a degree in Outdoor Education with a double minor in Education and Music. I currently provide weekly care for two families of whom I care for their 1-year-old and 11-year-old. I was also previously employed as a mentor for White Ash Learning Cooperative, a nature-centered education program where I supervised youth ages 2 to 13 while creating engaging experiential learning experiences. I have an interest in connecting youth with nature and fostering curiosity through child-led learning. Some of my personal interests include playing the guitar, singing, hiking, crafting, practicing yoga, dancing, cooking, and playing games. I have a Wilderness First Responder certification and am very conscious of risk management, ensuring your children's safety. I would love to care for your children in a way that is in alignment with your needs and values.
