Hi I love kids! I have been a nanny for many families and have 12+ years experience. Some Families I have watched one child as needed another family I have watched 5 children more full time including children with special needs. And lots of other families in between with ages and schedules varying. I have always taken pride in creating a fun, creative nurturing, & trustworthy companion to children. I have supervised the children's activities at all times, planned/ prepare meals and bottles and fed. Changed diapers and helped potty train, performed housework and helped families however I could. Plan and lead educational activities including reading with the children. Play indoor/outdoors, perform and teach good social manners. Administer medicine as allowed/needed. I have always adapted to each and every families/ children's needs.

Shantel has been watching our 8mo son 1 day a week for over 3 months. As soon as we interviewed her, we knew she was the best fit for our little boy. First of all, she has always been punctual and reliable. Most importantly, she is engaging and warm with our son. She is well-versed in infant development and even helped us identify some areas where our son was a bit delayed. She was able to give me (a first-time mom) advice on best practices for babies when I've asked for help on issues such as our son's feeding schedule. One unique aspect of Shantel's care giving is that she doesn't watch TV while care-giving. Although it would be OK if she had a little screen time while our son is sleeping, etc., I feel this is exemplary of Shantel's commitment to fully engaging with the children she watches. Finally, Shantel always leaves our home cleaner than when she began her shift even though that is not part of her expected duties!
